I was skeptical when I first saw three-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipes, but they’re surprisingly good. To take them up a notch, add miniature peanut butter cups—turning the recipe into a four-ingredient cookie. When the cookies come out of the oven, press an unwrapped mini Reese’s into the top of each one. It’s similar to a peanut butter blossom, but with even more peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter, not natural
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 16 miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, beat together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth and combined.
  • Form the dough into balls about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons in size. Place them on a lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the tops look almost set. Remove from the oven and gently press an unwrapped miniature peanut butter cup into the top of each cookie. Let cool slightly before serving.
