Cold, creamy Dark Chocolate Raspberry Frozen Yogurt. With no refined sugars & made without an ice cream maker, this no-churn frozen yogurt is the perfect way to cool off!
Sometimes I struggle with wants versus needs. Do I want tickets to see Britney Spears in Vegas? Absolutely. Do I need to spend a lot of money on a desert weekend? Probably not. When a recipe falls into the overlap of wants and needs, it feels like a small, guilt-free splurge.
This Dark Chocolate Raspberry Frozen Yogurt is exactly that: indulgent and sensible. It’s cold, creamy and packed with vibrant raspberry flavor, yet made without refined sugars and without an ice cream maker. Think of it as a treat that somehow leaves you feeling good afterward.
The secret to the silky texture is Greek yogurt. It gives the frozen yogurt a thick, luxurious mouthfeel that’s more reminiscent of ice cream than standard yogurt. The raspberries provide both bold flavor and a beautiful pink color, while honey sweetens the mixture naturally.
One of the best parts: it comes together quickly and requires only a food processor. Add the Greek yogurt, frozen raspberries and honey, then blend until smooth—about five minutes. Once blended, fold in finely chopped dark chocolate. I recommend chopping the chocolate very small; large chunks can become rock-hard when frozen, whereas small flecks are easier to scoop and enjoy.
After mixing, the frozen yogurt will be softer than what you’d buy at the shop. Transfer it to a sealed container and freeze for about four hours to firm up. Before serving, let it sit for a few minutes to soften slightly for easy scooping. The result is a refreshing, satisfying dessert with minimal fuss and clean ingredients.
It’s a simple recipe that delivers creamy texture, bright raspberry flavor and just the right amount of dark chocolate. Whether you want a healthier alternative to ice cream or a quick no-churn treat, this frozen yogurt fits the bill.
